In the week Swindon was twinned with Disney World, Town put in a Mickey Mouse performance against their arch rivals.

 

Three down before the half-time break, the Robins never looked like the side battling for a play-off place with only one defeat in seven games.

 

Goals from Rovers' Williams and Hughes - plus Kuffour adding to the misery just after the half hour - leaving a frustrated Danny Wilson wondering what went wrong.

 

"It was a strange game," commented the manager, "we had chances, and so did they. But defensively we were very poor at times.

 

"We've just got to dust ourselves down and go again."
