Danny Wilson gave a debut to on-loan signee Tope Obadeyi up front but Swindon again failed to find the net in a dour affair.
The game was delayed for nearly 30 minutes after a collison between MK Dons' duo Dean Lewington and Mathias Doumbe, both of whom were treated for head wounds at GWH.
"A clean sheet is a bonus and a point gets us off the mark," Wilson commented.
