Crowds gather to pay tribute 

Mourners line the street for latest repatriation
 
Hundreds of mourners have lined the streets of Wootton Bassett to pay their respects to two soldiers killed in Afghanistan.


The body of Rifleman Aidan Howell, from the 3rd Battalion, The Rifles, and Sapper David Watson, 23, was killed in an explosion in the Kajaki area of Helmand Province on Monday, December 28.

Howell’s devastated family and friends paid tribute to the avid Leeds United fan who they nicknamed their “Sunshine Boy”.

The bodies passed through the town just after 1.30pm, after the soldiers were flown into nearby RAF Lyneham earlier in the day.
