An unusual Saturday morning mix in Highworth market square

 

This was the scene in Highworth market square this morning as East most definitely met West.

 

An unusual mix of traditional English cider making alongside the spicy aroma of curry and a spot of exotic dancing on the podium proved quite an attraction.

 

The apple pressing was the first stage of the Highworth Business Group's annual cider initiative, with the local Indian restaurant Tamarind joining in by offering free food and refreshments - plus music and dancing.
