Perhaps a Mini wasn't the best form of transport in Swindon today - especially near Bruce Street Bridges!
Because if you look closely at the picture below you might just make out the two front headlamps of a Mini Cooper as one driver bravely navigated the roundabout notorious for flooding after the heavens opens at lunchtime.
We can report the car and lady motorist made it through in once piece with water reseeding quite quickly after recent anti-flood work on the junction was undertaken earlier this year.
Elsewere in Swindon minor flooding caused few problems, such as at Queens Drive below.
