Hello, Mr President!
Air Force One soars over Swindon as Obama flies in to RAF Fairford
It's not every day that you can say the President of the United States was just over, but thousands could say just that last night as Barrack Obama's presidential jet swooped low over Swindon's rooftops.
The Boeing VC-25 was on route to RAF Fairford, with the President being one of the key attendees at the two-day NATO summit in Newport.
Amidst tight security, hundreds of aviation enthusiasts congregated outside the Gloucestershire military base hoping to catch a glimpse of the Presidents arrival, and their patience was rewarded shortly before 7pm.
And it's thanks to Paula Sykes in Highworth, who was just in the right spot to capture the moment as Air Force One made its final descent.
The President didn't hang about for long though! He was soon whisked off to Wales aboard the Presidential helicopter Marine 1.
