Swindon Parishes Elections 

Conservatives & Labour split new parishes as Independents also do well - RESULTS

 

The results are in after Swindon held its first round of new Parish elections after Swindon Borough Council [SBC] decided last year to split the entire Borough in to parishes.

 

Four new parishes were created:

 

West Swindon - voted Conservative

Central Swindon North - Labour

Central Swindon South - Labour

St Andrews - Conservative

 

In addition, the existing Parish of Nythe was extended to include Eldene and Liden.
