International Art Comes to Old Town 

Oink Gallery launches July exhibition of designer collections

 

Swindon's Oink Gallery will be welcoming designer collections by celebrity chef, Yotam Ottolenghi, Vincent Van Duysen, Marie Michielssen, Bella Silva and Frederique Vanvlasselaer as it launches a month-long exhibition called – Interior X Art

 

For the month of July, the gallery, situated on Victoria Road in Old Town, Swindon, has teamed up with Belgian brand – Serax.



Oink will showcase seven of Serax International's designer collections, including ceramics, pottery, tableware, furniture and lighting. Other designers include Eva Claessens and Patrick Paris.

"Serax is a perfect fit for us with its design-led approach and will give people around Swindon, Wiltshire and the Cotswolds the opportunity to shop this high-end brand which would is usually at home in the capital cities of the world, " gallery owner Mark Pepperall told us.



"We have also selected five artists to exhibit abstract works on the walls complimenting the styles found in the homeware selections. We have Marit Geraldine Bostad from Norway, Mark McClure, Carrie Jean Goldsmith and Andrew J Millar from London and Chuck Elliott from Bristol.

"We are really excited to be showcasing new works alongside this pop-up in an aim to help build an interior selection that will inspire beautiful combinations."

Cirencester plant company, Fern & Ivy are also collaborating with the event, supplying plants for the Serax ceramic vases and vessels.
