If you’ve been watching the TV over the last few weeks, you can’t possibly have missed the exploits of Swindon’s Melinda Messenger on ITV’s Dancing on Ice.
And judging by the thousands of skaters now trying to emulate her at the Link Centre, skating in Swindon is now more popular then ever thanks to our golden girl.
It's been so busy down at the rink, they’re calling it the ‘Melinda factor!’
And joining this new influx of skaters, were two more this week -yours truly from SwindonWeb, Kirsty and Liz. Two girls who know a thing or or two about falling over in public (but not normally in the afternoon!)
