Moving tribute 

The 150th repatriation passes through Wootton Bassett

 

Three more British soldiers were repatriated this weekend.

 

Over 2,000 people lined the streets of Wootton Bassett on Saturday to show their respects to the 150th British soldier to die in Afghanistan, Lance Corporal Christopher Harkett, 22, of 2nd Battalion the Royal Welsh.

 

 

The cortege also included fellow soldiers Dean John, 25, and Graeme Stiff, 24.

 

The procession stopped for a minute's silence in Wootton Bassett high street before continuing it journey on to the John Radcliffe Infirmary in Oxford.
