Prospect Hospice Starlight Walk 2012

Join Prospect Hospice for their annual Starlight Walk through the streets of Swindon

It was Prospect Hospice’s biggest fundraising event of 2011, and this year it’s going to be even bigger!

 
Last year, nearly 800 women from across the region came out in force to take part, raising an amazing £85,000 towards the care – not bad for one night’s work!

 
This year is the fifth year that they have run the event, and to celebrate this – in what promises to be a year of celebration for Britain as a whole, from the Queen’s Jubilee to the London Olympics – the Starlight Walk will have a ‘Best of British’ theme.

 

   

Whether that’s post-war glamour, the swinging sixties, landgirls or Queen Victoria, they’re looking to make Starlight 2012 a celebration of everything that’s great about Britain.

 
If last years event is anything to go by, it’ll be a fantastic night, mixing a physical challenge with a party atmosphere and the chance to raise some money for Prospect Hospice.
