Lunchtime Recital - December

Swindon born Jemima is a former student of Marcia Scales and Paul Turner and is now in her second year at the Royal Northern College of Music.

 

She studied at Cirencester College, winning prizes in the Southern Cotswolds Young Musicianof the Year competition, and worked as an accompanist for the Swindon Gilbert and Sullivan Society.

 

She performed Saint-Saens’ second piano concerto with the Swindon Symphony Orchestra, and appeared in the BBC Proms at the Royal Albert Hall as a tuba player.

 
Her programme will include Beethoven’s dramatic Pathétique Sonata and virtuoso pieces by Ravel, Liszt and Rachmaninov.
