Summer Youth project showcase the musical in Wharf Green

 

 

Following the success of Boogie Nights last year, the Swindon Summer Youth Project returns with a brand-new production - this time set in the magical Land of Oz.

 

 

And today at Wharf Green shoppers and passers by got a sneak preview of what's to come as the youngsters showcased the musical live on the BBC Big Screen.

  

And from Thursday 26 August until Monday 29, the Wyvern Theatre will be turned into the mystical Emerald City, complete with munchkins, Dorothy and her friends, Toto the dog, and the great Wizard himself! 

 

There stage version includes the classic songs Somewhere Over the Rainbow, Follow the Yellow Brick Road, and We’re Off To See The Wizard!
