Bike Carnival 2011
Locals out in force for cycling event
It didn’t take much to get the wheels in motion at Lydiard Park yesterday, as numerous local companies and clubs turned out to enjoy the Swindon Bike Carnival 2011.
Young and old alike took advantage of the many services and activities on offer, with everything from bike repairs to unicycle tuition available.
The weather was set fair for what turned out to be a hugely beneficial day for all involved.
"We wanted the festival to show the fun side to cycling," commented Anna Cipullo Community Cycling development Officer, Swindon.
