Fun and frolics as the town prepares for Christmas.

From fun-fairs to fairies, there was no end of fun to be had in Wootton Bassett High Street on Friday night, with their annual Christmas lights switch-on.

It was an event catered for everyone, with events such as fun-fair games, tea-cup rides and tarot-reading, to name a few.

And as artificial snow fell on the Santa's grotto, dozens of children queued to make their wishes – and Santa was only too happy to entertain.
