Sir Geoff Hurst visits Swindon 

World Cup hero gets behind McDonald's football open day

 

Former England star Sir Geoff Hurst made a guest appearance in Swindon this weekend to support a football open day.

 

 

The 1966 World Cup winner was invited by McDonalds to support football in the community at an event organised by Swindon McDonald’s Franchisee, Paul Booth in partnership with Blunsdon Colts FC.

McDonald’s Restaurants in and around Swindon has supported Blunsdon Colts FC since earlier this year and has already provided the club with new kit and coaching equipment through the Restaurant and Football Club Twinning Programme which provides both financial and business support for local grassroots football clubs.
