Planning Permission
A conservatory doesn't normally need planning permission if:
- It is smaller than 70 cubic metres in size.
If you have already built an extension to your home then you may require additional planning permission.
Most installers worth their salt worth, however, will be able to advise you on where permission is needed and even sort out the relevant paperwork for you as part of their overall fee.
Windows and doors
Just check your home isn't in a conservation area or Grade II listed.
Either way, it is always best to check with your Local Authority to be sure. They can be contacted via the website link below. |
