Cook, caterer, restaurateur, food writer, journalist, novelist, businesswoman, teacher, television presenter, charity worker, lover, wife and mother, Prue Leith has certainly been keen to get the best out her life and has played a key role in the revolution of Britain’s eating habits since the Sixties.

 

Born in South Africa, Prue came to London and set up a successful catering company, and later opened Leith’s Restaurant, a food lovers’ oasis in London.

 

But it wasn’t all work. For thirteen years she had a secret affair. In her newly-published autobiography Relish – my life on a plate, Prue writes with humour and honesty, that reflects her incredible zest for life.
