Disappointed Swindon fans watch Cheltenham take three points with only 10-men

Although Swindon looked to be the more dominant side, wasted opportunities by Simon Cox, Lilian Nalis and Lee Peacock meant that Cheltenham took an easy 2-0 win.

With only 10-men, Cheltenham still managed to take three points as Swindon crashed out away from the County Ground.

A performance that Swindon manager Maurice Malpas described as "sloppy".

 

“We’re obviously all disappointed,” he said, “we came out looking like the dominant side in the first 20 minutes of the second-half, but a poor performance from our defenders cost us.”

“It will be back to the training ground where we will work hard to see that this does not happen again.”
