The Brunel welcomes new retailers
More choice than ever for shoppers in Swindon town centre
A new eaterie, furniture store, jeans shop and a place to buy the latest gadgets and gizmos are just some of the new outlets to open at the Brunel Shopping Centre.
Muffin Break, which is now situated on the ground floor of The Brunel Plaza, between Boots and Marks and Spencer, is already proving popular with shoppers and town centre employees.

Other new names include the family-owned Mister Woodz, which specialises in solid pine and oak timber furniture, The Jean Shop and Gimme Gizmo, selling an assortment of gadgets, magic toys and fun lighting for all ages.
Bucking the trend
“It’s been well documented that, nationally, retailers are having a tough time of it, but we’re committed to working with town-centre businesses to make sure The Brunel continues to offer a wide range of shops that meet the needs of Swindon shoppers," said Tony Wilkes, Centre Manager at The Brunel.
”The reduction in car parking costs also seems to be having a positive impact on the number of shoppers visiting the Centre, which will in turn help us to attract bigger name retailers to the town centre, improving the town centre shopping experience for all our visitors.”
