Back Home in The Parade
BHS opens brand-new store in Swindon town centre
Top Shop, River Island…. and now British Home Stores – the latest name to open a brand new store in the Parade shopping centre.
“We’re delighted with our new home,” said manager Andrea Richards, who oversaw the move from BHS’s temporary home in Regent street while the new store was built and fitted out.
Swindon mayor Ray Ballman performed the officially opening alongside BHS staff before joining Swindon Chamber President Gary Mealing and Parade centre manager Brian Morris for a tour of what was on offer including menswear, ladieswear, café and all-new homewear department.
The BHS store is the latest in a series of improvements to the Parade which have also included a major refurbishment of Debenhams and the removal of the canopies.
