Mouldon Hill
North Swindon park
Entry off Thamesdown Drive.
One of Swindon's newest open spaces and especially worth visiting in autumn for the changes of the season.
Built around a large lake, the park is named after the small hill within it that rises from the River Ray.
The park has a number of paths and walkways with a station for the nearby Swindon & Cricklade Railway currently being built. A recently restored stretch of the Wilts and Berks canal also flows it.
Arkell's pub The Tawny Owl is situated opposite the main entrance. |
