Swindon's local connection to England's Patron Saint
At this time every year, the nation celebrates St. George's Day - England's Patron Saint. In 2013 it's on
Tuesday 23 April.
In Swindon, we tend to make a big patriotic effort, with a Scout parade, plus a giant 20ft St. George marched through the town centre at 11am.
But what many people may not know, is just how connected Swindon and the local area is to St. George - especially the mythical dragon-slaying on the aptly-named Dragon Hill in Uffington.
SwindonWebTV's Alistair Greener went to investigate.
