Buildings and Architecture

Old-age and space-age designs

SwindonWeb is the first to admit that Swindon is hardly the architectural capital of the world with buildings to rival the Taj Mahal or St Paul's Cathedral.

It is the home, however, to a whole number of well-know buildings and landmarks, many of which are award-winning, some in disrepair, a couple favoured by 007, but all unique in their own way. And we've highlighted some you might just recognise.
