Giovanni is played by Lance Hodges, a founder member of OTTC and a committee member to boot!
"Giovanni is, on the face of it, a "Dyed in the Wool", out and out, Commie," says Lance. "A man who lives by strict principles. However, the outcome of the play leaves Giovanni grasping for any morale he can get his hands on."
"In translation, my character has a Tony Hancock type of humour and delivery, adding location and era to this wonderful farce!" he adds.
Lance says of the play, "Dario Fo sticks up two fingers at Politics, Religion and just about any other institution you'd care to mention."
