Dorothy is played by Holly Partridge from Commonweal School. She's 15 and lives in the Old Town.
Holly thinks her character is a determined, get ahead girl! "She's snotty and self confident. She knows what she wants to the point of selfishness."
As for Gregory's Girl, Holly thinks it's not only funny but true to life as well! "It's quite quirky, not at all blatant humour. I like the hidden jokes - it's what kids are like!"
Holly's dad is Andy Partridge, lead singer of the Swindon band, XTC. Her brother Harry is also in the play.
Of her dad's reaction: "I think he'll be a bit embarrassed - he's such a private person that he won't appreciate the extra attention it might bring!"
Gregory's Girl isn't Holly's first taste of the stage. She attended the Tanwood school of Dance from an early age and most recently appeared as "Blowsey" in Commonweal's "Bugsy Malone".
