Lucianus: "Here stooping to your clemency..." – I really wanted a versatile set, somewhere with a lot of play in it, core parts that could be reshaped to "make us somewhere else" whenever we needed... The whole company really pulled together on the set – but it's heavily down to the hard work of Paul Blonden and Duncan MacDougal that the set came together as smoothly as it did – especially the transforming Thrones/Bed and Table/Grave...

But the screens really helped, with a minimum of fuss, to demonstrate different places.
