Ophelia: "And will he not come again?" – This was the only song that I kept from the original, and "borrowed" the tune from the excellent Hamlet-based film comedy, In The Bleak Midwinter (directed by Kenneth Brannagh, and starring Michael Maloney, Richard Briers and Julia Sawalha – check it out!)... It was quite amusing, when I originally asked for the song to be delivered as like In The Bleak Midwinter, hearing the poor actresses auditioning trying to crowbar the Shakespeare lyrics to fit the Christmas carol!
