We're delighted that Jayne Ackrill is back acting in OFTR, especially as she's joined the cast in an early change round! When Nancy offered to direct OFTR, Jane was an obvious candidate to come in and take on the character of Jane... (Does that make rehearsals easier, or not!?). It's all worked out for the best, as Jayne is playing a blinder! As much as Jane (The character now!) is a social climber and a bit of a fraud, Jayne (The actress!) says she does feel some empathy with her character! "Jayne feels that how other people perceive her is very important. I can empathise with that as my lack of confidence can mean that I try to adapt myself to the social setting I'm in… it must be why I like acting so much!"
