Autumn Terror

by Jon Nash

Our entry in the Harold Jolliffe One Act Play Festival 2007

'Autumn Terror' voted Playwrite winner

The votes of listeners of BBC Radio Swindon and readers of the Swindon Advertiser have been counted and the winner of this year's Playwrite competition has been announced.

'Autumn Terror', by Jon Nash clinched it, and this is the play that OTTC will be performing in the 2007 Harold Joliffe One-Act Play Festival.

Set in Victorian London at the height of the attacks by Jack the Ripper, no woman is safe on the streets, and daily life for prostitutes such as Sarah and Anna is especially risky. This exciting, original and excellently written play has a large cast of men and women and is sure to inject a a chill among the audience at the Festival!

See the BBC Radio Swindon website for full details of the result.

Auditions are presently being held and the cast will be announced shortly, so watch this space...

The Harold Joliffe One Act Play Festival takes place at the Arts Centre, Swindon, from Thursday 22 to Saturday 24 February 2007. OTTC's performance will take place on the Thursday evening.
