Like James, Debbie's first involvement was in "Life of Brian", for which she choreographed the opening dance sequence and played various non speaking roles too. She's an ex-professional dancer with an international career behind her.

Debbie told us, "Having been a professional dancer and never called upon to utter a word - here I am, in a lead role, trying to speak - and sing - in American, and dance badly - yikes!"

But the play brings Debbie another first.... "Bus Stop has my first ever stage kiss! The anticipation of it has been worse than it actually turned out!"
