Back on stage, Pete Beard helps to open "the Reds", or the stage curtains. Pete plays Bo's life long buddy, Virgil Blessing.
Pete sums up Virgil as a trail worn - and life worn - cowboy who's content to live with life's, and his own, limitations.
He's enjoying "Bus Stop". "What hasn't it got?!" he quips. "It's got romance, a punch up, music, comedy - and food!"
Another returning veteran, Pete last directed Bill Forsyth's "Gregory's Girl" for OTTC in December '99.
