First time director Tanya Barker is steering the ship and that means ‘Earnest' will be performed in modern times, costume and set! "Setting Earnest in contempory times means such a wonderful opportunity to explore the value systems that Wilde both upheld and ridiculed!", says Tanya. "We're able to explore how a traditional adaptation would have characters barely holding hands, yet we're able to have them kissing openly; yet the storyline and meaning remains the same!"
