Another acting duo in Earnest is that of Gwendolen Fairfax and the redoubtable Lady Bracknell! Lady B's part only went to Jane Dale with just over 4 weeks to go! "Although that's meant some real challenges in getting to grips with the character, it's been enormous fun to throw myself into the part of Lady B!", says Jane. " She's such a monster to play; it makes her a real joy to portray her!" Does the Lady Bracknell type really exist in modern times though? "Oh yes!" says Jane. "Yes, she's still around. She's part of an aristocracy that's had to adapt and survive, or die. And she's a survivor!"
