"He's a nice character to play", says Ashley. "Pitt the Younger's seen as a 'cold fish' by the King and, pretty much everyone else. I just think he's very, very earnestly trying keep the country going through a terrifically difficult period. Pitt is fighting to keep the country financially afloat and he desperately needs a healthy King to sign the paperwork... I think the poor guy was in a hell of a position!"
