"It's been a chance to play some totally eccentric characters, bordering on Pantomime. However, there is a very fine line between that Panto silliness and the melodrama we're aiming for! It needs some very restrained discipline from the actors not to cross it. And I've been particularly pleased with the way in which the cast has responded to my manic requests!"
