OTTC's entry in this year's All England One Act Play Festival was
a great success!
The Open Couple by Dario Fo won the Swindon round, giving us a
record equalling hat-trick here!
An exciting play to perform, the characters and storyline demanded
much from cast and crew.
A married man persuades his loving wife that their marriage has
the best chance of surviving if they can see other people.
Although the man certainly gets the best of the deal initially,
his wife ultimately gains the upper hand in a fast moving story
of relationships, machismo and sexual politics.
Visually striking, the plot unfolded against a minimalist backdrop
of a black and white set and costume.

As well as being entered in the national competition, where The
Open Couple went on to win at Chipping Sodbury, OTTC took the play
to the Malmesbury Festival where it won as well!
