"He doesn't like change", says Steve. "I think he likes the ordered, regimented society of Oxford. I don't think he likes women either - being henpecked by his wife as he is!"

And what about the Reverend's ability to care for his flock? "He may offer Lewis some words of comfort", says Steve. "But it's really out of clerical duty! He's not a very sympathetic character!"
