Brian Davey plays Gremio, a potential suitor to Bianca.
"I would describe him as an ageing, fat, slobbery, lonely, self important and rich git. It's quite a challenge!" says Brian.
As for the play's very chauvinistic slant, Brian's unsure of audience reactions. "Clearly it's a tale of male chauvinism in the extreme, dominating and subduing the female. I'm not sure how that will go down with a 21st century audience!"
