Old Town Theatre Company has a lot riding on "Roads to Moscow" and "Unsung" this year.
If either one is the eventual winner of the Swindon Round of the All
England One Act Play Festival, then it'll be a record breaking fourth
consecutive win, at this stage, for OTTC!
Having said that, to coin an old phrase, it's not the winning that
matters but the taking part. Everyone involved in these two productions has
worked extremely hard to make their performance the best it can be.
Given that every company entering this year's competition will be doing
exactly the same - it's bound to be a great festival!
Unsung by David Foxton
This year, OTTC is delighted to be entering a Youth production - and
it's no easy option! "Unsung" has 23 characters played by a cast of five
- three female actors and two males from 10 years of age to 16.
"'Unsung' is about a lad who has always dreamt of being a hero and it
takes us through his young life", says Director Lynne Scragg. "It's a
really touching story with a thought provoking final scene."
